The first of two tournaments on American soil this week is the Hamilton Open, which will take place at the Hamilton Club of Lancaster, Pennsylvania from Wednesday.
Finland’s Emilia Soini will be the top seed for the Challenger 10 level tournament, with Latvian No.1 Ineta Mackevica as her nearest challenger for the crown come Saturday evening.
The Canadian duo of Nicole Bunyan and Nikki Todd, who both made it to the semi-finals of the Oxford Properties Canadian Senior Championships presented by Slaight Music in Toronto last week, will also be in the top four seeds.
11 players in the draw are currently inside the top 100 in the World Rankings, with Spain’s Cristina Gomez, Malaysia’s Wen Li Lai, Welshwoman Ali Loke, Mexico’s Diana Garcia, Hong Kong’s Chan Sin Yuk, England’s Lucy Beecroft and Pakistani Amna Fayyaz all in action.
